The Back-Up Valve is an essential part of a pressure side cleaner for effective movement underwater. Located on the hose of the Legend II cleaner, the Back-Up Valve keeps your cleaner from getting stuck by releasing a blast of water pressure. This action moves the cleaner backwards. Keeps cleaner free from obsticals such as steps, ladders, seats and benches found within the pool allowing it to continue picking up debris in other areas of your pool.
