Description
Pool Solutions Metal Control removes metals from pool water including metal stains and scale from surfaces. Metal Control does not create foaming and keep your pool pH neutral. It crystallizes and removes iron, copper, silver, and manganese from pool water through the filter. Metal Control is compatible with all types of filtration systems. This product also prevents staining and protects plumbing and equipment.
Dosage:
Initial Treatment:
1 quart per 10,000 gallons of water.
Maintenance Treatment:
3 oz. per 10,000 gallons per week.
Product Use:
Product is used to prevent and treat metal staining.
Directions:
For pools, apply over entire pool surface with filter system operating. For best results use 1 quart of Metal Control per 10,000 gallons of water to remove metal stains, prevent plating and restore water clarity. Regular use of Metal Control will keep pool water, the pool shell and plumbing in good clean condition. If testing indicated metals above 3 ppm use one quart per 20,000 gallons, or use 3 oz. per 10,000 gallons per week if pool has a tendency to show increasing metal content in water. Do not add more than recommended dosage. For best results use in early afternoon or evening with water temperature above 60 degrees, and run pump for 24 hours. Once dissolved, metals are transported to the filter where they can be removed thru filter cleaning. For best results, pool water pH should be at 7.5 or above when treatment begins. For copper/silver ion treated pools, remove electrodes or turn off ionizer for 5 days.
